It is very important to let our City Council representatives know how we feel about the proposed Rock-Tenn burner. It also helps to let the Mayor know how we stand. The City Council (and the Mayor) must ultimately vote on anything that the St. Paul Port Authority proposes, so the Council and the Mayor DO have the power to stop this burner, even if the Port Authority recommends it. Two City Council members, Dan Bostrom and Kathy Lantry, also sit on the St. Paul Port Authority Board of Commissioners, so it’s very important to reach and convince them to stop the burner: Melvin Carter, Ward 1 Room 310-A City Hall, Saint Paul, MN 55102 651-266-8610; fax: 651-266-8574 email: ward1@ci.stpaul.mn.us Dave Thune, Ward 2 Room 310-B City Hall, Saint Paul, MN 55102 651-266-8620; fax: 651-266-8574 email: ward2@ci.stpaul.mn.us Pat Harris, Ward 3 Room 310-C City Hall, Saint Paul, MN 55102 651-266-8630; fax 651-266-8574 email: ward3@ci.stpaul.mn.us Russ Stark, Ward 4 Room 310-D City Hall, Saint Paul, MN 55102 (651) 266-8640; fax (651) 266-8574 email: ward4@ci.stpaul.mn.us Lee Helgen, Ward 5 Room 320-A City Hall, Saint Paul, MN 55102 651-266-8650; fax: 651-266-8574 email: ward5@ci.stpaul.mn.us Dan Bostrom, Ward 6 Room 320-B City Hall, Saint Paul, MN 55102 651-266-8660; fax: 651-266-8574 email: ward6@ci.stpaul.mn.us Kathy Lantry, Ward 7 City Council President Room 320-C City Hall, Saint Paul, MN 55102 651-266-8670; fax 651-266-8574 email: ward7@ci.stpaul.mn.us
