The State of Delaware, one of the most pro-business states in the nation, passed strict legislation banning the construction of new garbage incineration facilities. The Institute for Local Self-Reliance has a number of articles and publications regarding the health, environmental, and economic costs of incineration, as well as the benefits and feasibility of Zero Waste.
